Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Why use a property search agent?
A. The current market is short on supply and increasingly competitive.
I have a great network of established relationships with agents who often give me access
to properties before they appear on the open market.
Smart negotiating can lead to dramatic reductions in the asking price.

Q. Are you an estate agent?
A. No. Estate agents act on behalf of the vendor to achieve the highest price possible for
their property.
I act on behalf of the purchaser – to acquire the right property at the lowest price possible.

Q.  Why would estate agents want to deal with property search agents when they know
they are aggressive negotiators?

A. Estate agents know that I deal with committed, well-financed, serious buyers who
are ready to move quickly. I get the job done.

Q.  Do you view all potentially suitable properties on my behalf?
A. I try to preview all properties before accompanying my client on viewings.
It is my job to save you time and stress by weeding out unsuitable properties that may
have looked appealing on the Internet or agents details. Whilst a beautiful view may
get a mention, close proximity to a railway line does not.

Q.  I’ve found the ideal property but I’m not sure if it’s competitively priced.
Can you give me some price comparisons?
I would like help to negotiate for it. Can you do that if you didn’t do the search?

A. Absolutely. I can put together a due diligence package.
This includes comparable sales and market value. I will negotiate on your behalf.
Just contact me for a quote.

Q.  Which areas do you cover?
A. Central London and Greater London.

Q.  Do you only act for clients at the top of the market?
A. Not at all. A recent client’s budget was £500,000.

Q.  Who are your clients?
A. I act for first time buyers, professionals, investors, downsizers, families, the list goes on!

Q.  I wish to keep my identity private, as I’m known to the public. Can you guarantee this?
A. I have already worked with several high profile clients who still appreciate my discretion,
long after they have moved.

Q.  Isn’t retaining a property search consultant just a luxury?
A. No, it’s an absolute necessity, especially in this current market.
Buying a property is probably the biggest purchase you make in your life.
Clients who have taken professional advice have saved time and money.
